The Elgin bicycle was the "go to" bicycle for most every kids dream bike pre WWII. The kids would wear out the pages of the Sears catalog. dreaming, praying and saving to get his or her own Elgin. A popular mainstay of Americana before WWII. After WWII, the name would never be seen again.  This is a Mid West barn find. As it is photographed in this beautiful image is how the bicycle sits today. Too beautiful to ever touch and restore.
